How I got into this whole cooking thing is a funny story. Two words: Julia Child. Her cooking show followed Sesame Street on PBS. I was hooked.

Ensuring my time in front of the TV hanging with Julia wasn’t a misspent youth, I started working in restaurants at age 14 and later graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in New York.

Greatest part of being a chef is seeing the joy on people’s faces as they devour my creations. I like that. My approach to cooking centers around making “real” food with classic, timeless appeal. I like it fresh. I like it tasty. I like it homemade. Every day.
